Enterprise Administrator (Mid-Level)

Role Summary

The Enterprise Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s enterprise infrastructure, including server environments, storage systems, and cloud platforms. The role focuses on ensuring system availability, performance, security, and resilience through proper monitoring, high availability configurations, and disaster recovery planning. The administrator will work closely with cybersecurity, network, and application teams to maintain a stable and scalable infrastructure that supports business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Server Infrastructure Management

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Manage Microsoft virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V.
  • Perform system patching, updates, and lifecycle management using Microsoft management tools.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
  • Ensure optimal performance, capacity planning, and resource utilization across server infrastructure.

2. Storage Infrastructure

  • Manage enterprise storage systems including SAN, NAS, and Microsoft storage solutions.
  • Provision and manage storage volumes and backup repositories.
  • Monitor storage performance, capacity utilization, and redundancy.
  • Implement storage replication and snapshot strategies.

3. Cloud Infrastructure Management

  • Manage and support Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Deploy and maintain Azure virtual machines, storage services, networking, and identity integration with on-premise Active Directory.
  • Monitor cloud resource utilization and optimize for performance and cost.
  • Implement and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure between on-premise systems and Azure.

4. High Availability & System Monitoring

  • Configure and maintain high availability solutions and failover systems for enterprise services.
  • Implement and manage monitoring tools for servers, storage, and cloud environments.
  • Analyze alerts, logs, and performance metrics to ensure system health and service reliability.
  • Maintain uptime targets and service reliability for critical enterprise services.

5. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

  • Implement and manage Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Configure and maintain backup jobs, replication, and recovery strategies using Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Perform regular backup validation and restoration testing.
  • Maintain disaster recovery documentation and recovery procedures.
  • Support business continuity planning and infrastructure resilience.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration
  • Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization
  • Experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments
  • Experience administering Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, RAID, storage replication)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting is an advantage

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Understanding of high availability architecture and failover systems
  • Experience implementing backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam
  • Knowledge of capacity planning and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure security best practices

Soft Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to document systems and operational procedures
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3–5 years experience in enterprise infrastructure administration
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (preferred)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (preferred)
  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) (preferred)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments (On-Premise + Azure)•
  • Experience managing Veeam backup, replication, and disaster recovery architecture
  • Exposure to security tools, endpoint protection, or SIEM platforms
  • Experience working in 24/7 enterprise environments

Salary: ₦ 800,000 to ₦ 1.4 Million.
