Emmanuel Akpan is a native of Akwa Ibom Stare, Nigeria. He studied accounting in the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, Nigeria; and then proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria, where he obtained am MBA degree in Financial Management. He has attended several workshop/seminars numerous to mention.

He holds membership of some professional institutes: Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Loan & Risk Management, Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Administration, etc.

He has a good corporate management training and higher education teaching experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management/Administration, etc spanning over ten years. He has lectured and facilitated at different training/workshops and schools across Nigeria: Abuja Graduates School, Management House Africa, Josben Consulting Limited, Josben Business School, Exposure Educational Services; etc preparing students for various examinations in the universities, polytechnics, professional institutes, etc.

Other than teaching, Emmanuel Akpan has worked in different business firms at different managerial positions; including Kanma and Associates Ltd as AGM Finance, Base Aviation Systems Ltd as Branch/Station Manager, Chester Fries Ltd as Branch Manager.

Emmanuel Akpan is currently the CEO of Periscope Trust Nigeria Ltd and a director in Josben Consulting Ltd .

He is also currently lecturing/facilitating in Abuja Graduates School, Josben Consulting Limited, The Management House Africa, Josben Business School. He is so much involved in workshops/seminar presentations.
