JOB TITLE: REGIONAL BANK HEAD
LOCATION: SOUTH EAST AND NORTH EAST

SALARY: N400K

JOB DESCRIPTION
Minimum 8 years cognates work experience (with at least 2 years experience in strategic business leadership position)
BSc/B.A/HND in a relevant field.
Existing loan portfolio will be a great advantage for negotiation.
Ability to work with little or no supervision using our digital lending channels.
Proactively develop client relationship, anticipate, and provide solutions to client needs and give high priority to client satisfaction, with responsibility for meeting or exceeding agreed performance targets and objectives.
Achieve a satisfactory level of knowledge of Consumer Banking products and services.
Complete credit and loan documentation, research and evaluate loan applicant financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay the loan, also ensure that standards and credit policies of the bank are respected and strictly followed.
Liaison with those responsible for risk management and securities issues within the Bank.
The interpretation and application of the various exemptions applicable to the processing of personal data.

JOB SUMMARY
The Consumer Banking Officer will be responsible for evaluating, approving, and recommending loan applications for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microfinance principles, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess loan applications and determine eligibility for clients based on established criteria.
Conduct credit analysis and evaluate clients’ financial status, business plans, and repayment capacity.
Complete credit and loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
Proactively develop client relationships, anticipate and provide solutions to client needs, and prioritize client satisfaction.
Achieve and exceed agreed performance targets and objectives, ensuring high levels of client retention and satisfaction.
Monitor and manage loan portfolios, ensuring timely repayments and addressing any issues that arise.
Conduct site visits and appraisals for potential and existing clients.
Liaise with risk management and securities teams within the bank to ensure the integrity and security of loan processes.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial institution with similar operations.
Existing loan portfolio will be a significant advantage for negotiation.
Ability to work with little or no supervision, particularly using digital lending channels.
Strong knowledge of Consumer Banking products and services.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
