Accountant – Financial Planning and Analysis

Our client is seeking an experienced accountant to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts, as well as providing strategic financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Job Description

  • Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives.
  • Perform complex financial analysis, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly management reports, quarterly financial statements, and annual budgets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must be a chartered accountant.
  • Proficient in financial planning and analysis software, such as Excel, and other accounting tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. A competitive salary range.

Credit Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned full time Credit Officer with a strong background in credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan portfolio management. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, conducting risk assessments, and making informed lending decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or HND in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics)
  • At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector or cooperative
  • 1-2 years of credit experience is an added advantage
  • Must be resident in Abuja, Nigeria
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively and meet deadline.
